If you’re looking for some mouth-watering home cooking, Cody’s on 4th is your “go-to” place in downtown Mount Dora. Since 2011, Cody has been creating her menu using her favorite flavors, locally sourced ingredients, and is best known for her fresh tossed salads, homemade salad dressings, her made-from-scratch-daily soup specials, scrumptious sandwiches, sweet desserts, and of course specialty coffee drinks.
One of the first things you’ll notice upon walking into Cody’s are the historic photographs of downtown Mount Dora. Cody tells me that her favorite image is the large panoramic shot complete with beautiful antique cars circa 1926. Walk around the shop and you’re sure to learn a thing or two about Mount Dora’s days gone by.
Something you might not know about Cody’s on 4th is that they cater, and not just off the menu. Cody is happy to create a special dish or entire menu just for your special event! From school events, to church functions, a work meeting, or even a wedding, Cody will whip up something just to your liking. If you’re in need of a small gathering place, call in advance and they just might be able to reserve space for your meeting or brunch.
Speaking of brunch, did you know that Cody’s on 4th serves Champagne! Beer and wine are also available daily. Take out and local delivery are also available. Be sure to stop in often as seasonal specials change frequently and are in high demand!
